The Belmont Concours was extremely pleased to be included on the  enthusiasts website Speedhunters.com.  We would like to thank Mike Garrett for visiting our event!  We really enjoyed looking through the  terrific photos he posted of Sunday afternoon.

Mike is a "speedfreak" at heart, but an enthusiast at large - so it  was with this motorsports interest that he was drawn to the premier of The Belmont Concours d'Eleganza -  everyone involved with putting this event together worked extremely hard to produce a concours that can be  highly anticipated for years to come!

Craig Hansen

The Belmont Concours d’Eleganza was honored to have Craig Hansen agree to be our 2009 Master of Ceremonies and we are excited to have him return as our Master of Ceremonies for 2010.  But what would a concours in Fresno be without Craig?

Craig was Master of Ceremonies and served on the Advisory Board for The Greater Valley Concours d’Elegance for many years.  However, Craig is perhaps best known as host of the popular KMJ Auto Shop Talk radio program.  He has married his love and knowledge of automobiles with his experience as both a news reporter and play by play announcer, to inform the region’s car enthusiasts for 25 years.

Craig purchased his first collector car – a 1965 Ford Galaxy 390 Convertible – shortly after his sixteenth birthday.  Since, he has paid homage to mostly American makers, owning multiple Corvettes, Trans Ams, Firebird 400s, Camaros, Mustangs and Cadillacs.  He’s also owned a Lincoln, a Porsche, a Packard and a Franklin.

Craig and his wife Pam have been active in the community since 1976, often raising funds for many worthwhile projects and organizations.  For example, Craig and Pam, with other fellow car enthusiasts, formed "Friends of the Ronald McDonald House."  This Central Valley grassroots group raised more than $4 million for the House over seven years, with a raffle to win a classic car.  The annual give-away was wildly popular, sparking ticket sales internationally.  It isn't any wonder when you could win cars like a 1968 Shelby 500 King of the Road Convertible, a 1967 Chevy Bel Air Convertible, a 2005 Ford GT, a 1967 Corvette 427/435 horsepower aluminum head L89, and many other highly desirable beauties.
